Since 1982, Carol A Lee CPA has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses. Carol’s expertise ranges from tax compliance and planning and accounting services to more in-depth services such as transactional tax planning and related consulting services, financial statements, and financial planning.

Education
Carol received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Arizona in 1978. While there, she was inducted into the honorary accounting fraternity of Beta Alpha Psi for excellence in her accounting studies. Following this great achievement she was certified by the California State Board of Accountancy in December 1980.

Prior to eventually establishing her practice in the Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach area of Orange County in December 1982, Carol was with an Arizona local firm and a regional public accounting firm located in Costa Mesa, California. Her focus at these firms was in corporate and partnership tax accounting, as well as management information systems. Carol studied systems engineering and mathematics in college, but decided that her passion was better expressed helping individuals through her accounting skills. Serving others and helping them achieve their goals has always brought satisfaction.

Joan Jones

Joan has been with Carol A Lee CPA since 2002 and is a full charge bookkeeper. She provides bookkeeping services for many types of businesses. She has experience with many accounting software packages available today including Quickbooks, Quicken and Creative Solutions. Joan is available to provide specific accounting support such as payroll processing, sales tax reports, and workers compensation reports as well as general ledger, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations.

Sonja Dominguez

Sonja Dominguez is at the front desk and is usually the first face you see when you visit our office. As office manager, she supervises the scheduling of tax season appointments and the general operations of the office. Sonja joined Carol A. Lee, CPA in 1984 through 1986, and rejoined in 2002. She is a pleasure to work with and will accommodate client requests for non-accounting services.
